Sumathi Memorial Trust (SMT) was established in 2017, in the loving memory of Mrs. Sumathi Velumani, Co-Creator of Thyrocare by her family members. She was a victim of late diagnosis of pancreatic cancer – which claimed her prematurely in early 2016. She firmly believed that chronic disorders like Diabetes are preventable. The objective of this Trust is to alleviate the burden of Cancer and Diabetes diagnosis for the bottom of the pyramid.
