Sumathi Memorial Trust (SMT) was established in 2017, in the loving memory of Mrs.  Sumathi Velumani, Co-Creator of Thyrocare by her family members. She was a victim of late  diagnosis of pancreatic cancer – which claimed her prematurely in early 2016.
